We are currently seeking an energetic, organized, and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team for 2 unique hotels and multiple restaurants located in Hudson Valley.

Property Summaries:
- INNESS, located in Accord, NY, is unique resort property, featuring 40 room hotel, 9-hole golf course, swimming, tennis, events, and seasons best restaurant on 220 acres in Hudson Valley.
- Hotel Kinsley located 20 minutes north of INNESS in Kingston, NY.
Hotel Kinsley is a collection of 4 historic buildings that have been carefully restored into a 42-room hotel and restaurant.
- LOLA Pizza, just around the corner from Hotel Kinsley, is a local pizza joint featuring the area's best wood fired pizza and house made pastas.
Reporting to:
CEO Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Welcome new employees to the organization by conducting new hire orientation, maintaining onboarding forms such I-9 compliance, and employee enrollment in the systems.
Administer accurate employee database:
new hires, status changes, job codes and terminations.
Support Time and Attendance system by providing access to new users, time clock enrollments, troubleshooting and admin user maintenance.
Prepare and process weekly payrolls.
Coordinates with department supervisors for time and attendance systems, collects timesheets, PTO balances, approvals, maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
Administer benefits plans for new hires, terminations, and open enrollment.
Complete all unemployment, verification of employment and other documentation requiring payroll/wage information.
Create multiple weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for CEO, accounting, IT, HR Director, and other department supervisors.
Follow up on open workers compensation cases with claim's managers and employee supervisors.
Respond to general inquiries regarding PTO, benefits, and other company policies.
Support maintenance of the affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintain other records, reports, and log to confirm to EEO regulations Perform drug screening as per company policies.
Assist management with job postings Handle employee relations counseling Maintain employee confidentiality and protect operations by keeping HR information confidential Relay messages and perform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, and updating bulletin boards Other duties as assigned Job
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in HR Management plus 3 years of HR/Payroll experience or 5 years of experience in the field Strongly prefer candidates with prior experience in payroll, timekeeping and attendance systems and other database management.
Understanding of general human resources policies/procedures and good knowledge of NY employment/labor laws Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
