Quick Apply Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description INNESS is an intimate country refuge, hotel, and restaurant located in Accord, New York, situated on a campus of 225 pastoral acres which include a 12-room farmhouse hotel, 28 guest cabins, restaurant, event barn, a 9-hole golf course, sporting outfitter, two swimming pools, tennis courts, walking trails, a retail home and farm shop, as well as an organic farm and orchard.
The Assistant Hotel Manager will report to and directly support the Hotel General Manager.
This role will have a strong focus on the guest experience and daily operations of the front desk.
This position is well- suited for someone with supervisory front office experience in high-end hospitality settings, and who has a passion for creating superior guest experiences for a discerning clientele.
Job Responsibilities Ensure that proper procedures and best practices are being followed on a consistent basis by all members of the Guest Services team Assist the Hotel Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, motivating and ensuring high performance of hotel staff Help maintain communication between all departments- Guest Services, F&B, Housekeeping, Events- to facilitate a smooth and harmonious experience for all guests Oversee attention to and execution of all guest requests and VIP guest experiences Be an initial point of contact for guest issues that require elevation beyond the front desk team, and advise on best service recovery measures Assist with monthly inventories and month end accounting procedures Oversee ordering and execution of Hotel minibar program Assist with creating, updating, and distributing SOP documents and protocols Be able to perform all job duties and functions of the Guest Services team, as well as having a strong understanding of roles within housekeeping to provide assistance as needed for the smooth operation of the property Assist as needed to execute events and happenings on property Required Skills and Qualifications 45 hours per week; 8-10 hours shifts; generally evenings, 2pm-11pm; Thursday-Monday Quick Apply.
